Raising And Giving (RAG) Week
Raising and Giving Week (25th February – 1st March 2013) is your annual opportunity to help raise money for and donate to a selection of different local charities.
All four student bodies are collaborating to raise funds for good causes.
Campus will be alive with fundraisers in bright blue collecting for good causes. So volunteer for an hour, chuck in your loose change or get involved in some of the fundraising.
RAG Week is all about having fun while raising money for charity and we hope many of you can join in the festivities and help us raise our best total to date.
Last year we raised over £3,000 to help out local causes, and we’re sure you’ll help us beat that this time round.
The charities we will be raising money for this year will be decided by you and a short list to choose from with be released shortly!
Alongside the crew of enthusiastic students helping out throughout the week, University Staff are joining in too! Look out for people dressed in our RAG week T-Shirts in the Fraser Building and the Library and pop a couple of coins in their buckets. All the money is going towards heping some brilliant causes.

One Dress One Month
For the WHOLE of March the SRC will be participating in One Dress One Month. Check out the full details on the One Dress | One Month 2013 Facebook page, but to give you the ‘too long, didn’t read’- VP Student support and a host of other ladies are wearing dresses for a full month, all for Glasgow Women’s Aid.
