Changes to Sandyford Clinic Walk In Services
To improve their service the Sandyford are adopting a phone appointment system
From Monday 8th June 2015, the Sandyford Walk-in Service is being replaced with a Phone-in system, and people will be asked to phone before coming in to any Sandyford clinic. The phone number for the new phone-in clinic will be 0141 211 8130.
When you phone, an experienced sexual health nurse will ask you a few questions to find out the type of problem you are having and how urgent it is.
- If you need to be seen urgently you will be asked to come in to speak to a member of staff that day.
- If your case is not urgent you will be offered an appointment with one of our clinics and asked to come back.
- Or you may be directed to another service such as your GP.
We hope that phoning in will save people time and travel and that it enables us to offer you the most suitable service for your needs, at a time that suits you.
