RAG WEEK IS HERE!

Our biggest week of the academic year is upon us and here’s what we have planned:

When Event Location Charity Funds Going to
All week Library Fines for Charity! Glasgow University Library Books2Africa – an incredible charity that provides books and other educational materials to disadvantaged children across Africa, helping them to achieve their full potential and escape poverty.
Tuesday 13th Mugs for Charity Fraser Building stall, 11am-3pm Changing Faces, a fantastic charity which supports those with a visible difference to their hands, face, or body, and campaigns to end discrimination against those with a visual difference.
Drag Bingo Champions Bar, QMU, 7.30pm Changing Faces, a fantastic charity supporting those with a visible difference to their hands, face, or body to live their lives as they want, and campaigning to end discrimination against those with a visual difference, and encourage true equality regardless of appearance.
Wednesday 14th Pub Quiz Coopers, Great Western Road, 7pm Global’s Make Some Noise, a unique charity bringing together 8 of the UK’s biggest radio stations to provide life-changing support to youngsters with illness, disability, or lack of opportunity.
Thursday 15th Alpacas on Campus tbc (see facebook event) 11am-3pm Child Brain Injury Trust, an incredible charity that works to help children and families affected by brain injuries, providing the vital support that allows these children to live their lives to the full.
Friday 16th UofG Charity Auction Debates Chamber, GUU, 7pm (£3 entry) Disaster Emergency Committee which brings together 13 of the UK’s largest aid agencies to effectively provide humanitiarian support where it is needed most https://www.dec.org.uk/
